Airbus has strengthened its order book for the remainder of the year, announcing orders from Japan’s Peach Aviation and Europe’s NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA). 

 

Peach Aviation received Airbus’s A320neo recently, the first of 28 A320neo’s it had ordered, and it’s also expecting delivery of six A321LR aircrafts. Airbus stated that, as of the end of August, it received 7,500 firm orders from 110 customers globally for its A320neo model.

 

Following the successful delivery of two A330MRTT to NSPA, Airbus received an additional order for the same model from the European organization. 

 

The aircraft producer’s order intake in the first six months of the year rose by €5.6bn ($6.5bn), with net commercial aircraft orders totalling to 298 units from 88 units in H1 2019. The company had 7,584 unit orders pending for delivery as of June 30, 2020. Airbus also stated that it had firm orders for 75 helicopters in H1 2020.
