Allmetal Recycling has purchased the North-Central Kansas based recycler, Salina Iron and Metal, adding a sixth location to its scrap recycling business. The new facility will be named AllMetal Recycling Salina.
Headquartered in Wichita Kansas, the metal processor acquired Glickman Metal Recycling near the end of 2019. While the terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, media reports indicated that Allmetal intended to expand further in the future.
Salina Iron and Metal has operated for more than 100 years, processing scrap grades such as aluminum, copper, P&S 5 ft, shredded, and heavy melt. Allmetal, a recycler with operations across the Midwest, was established in 2009 and processes various ferrous and non-ferrous scrap grades.
