Locomotive and automotive parts manufacturer, Amsted Rail announced appointment of Michael Carter as its new president.
Carter comes with more than 30 years of experience in finance and information technology and served many senior roles in companies like Griffin Pipe Products, Griffin Wheel and Burges Norton. He served as the chief financial officer of Amstead Rail until this time. He will succeed John Wories, who is stepping down from the position after a 50-year long career in the rail industry.
The Chicago headquartered multinational employs more than 18,000 employees across the map, manufacturing both components and integrated systems for railcars, as well as digital solutions for the industry.
