Canadian firm Apel Extrusions has bought land in Phoenix, Arizona to set up its new headquarters and manufacturing facility.

According to media reports, the company is planning to spend $100mn to develop the 323,782 sq ft facility and employ about 200 new workers. The new location will be operational by mid-2022.

Apel operates five extrusion presses in North America, three of which are in Oregon. The company’s headquarters are currently in Calgary, Alberta.
