APL Apollo Tubes resumed partial operations at its Raipur, Chhattisgarh facility after the government eased restrictions amid the COVID-19 lockdown, according to a company update. The company had suspended operations on March 25. The facility has restarted operations with permission from local authorities.
The company is the largest producer of electric resistance welded (ERW) steel pipes and sections in India with an annual production capacity of 2.5mn mt. It exports products to 20 countries across the globe.
