Nevada-based recycler Aqua Metals has completed its V1.5 Aqualyzer system and is pleased it took only six months following the completion of the V1.25 program.
The third and newest design has reached lead production levels that have increased more than 300pc compared to output from the original, V1.0 aqualyzer model, implemented at the company’s AquaRefinery in 2018-2019 during commercial production.
The boost in output will cut over 60pc of the amount of Aqualyzers needed to produce equal lead volumes produced by the V1.0 model, leading to reduced capital and labor. The new model also increased electrical proficiency to 97pc, further improving operating costs.
This model brings 60pc fewer operating costs and 50pc fewer capital expenses by moving from the V1.0 to V1.5 and considerably surpassing early 2020 goals.
