Aluminum packaging producer Ball Corporation plans to construct a new aluminum end manufacturing factory to supply material to its cans manufacturing units across North America.
The plant is slated to commence operations in early 2022 and will create 200 new jobs. The company did not disclose the facility’s production capability but indicated that it will provide material to the company’s aluminum can plants across the US, including the new sites at Glendale, Arizona and Pittston, Pennsylvania which will both begin operations this year.
Ball Corp noted that the new plant aligned its aluminum end production with its planned can output, which continues to expand due to a recent spike in demand.
