On Dec 3, the Solid Waste & Chemicals Management Centre of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China published its 15th batch of waste import quotas, which includes waste and scrap of aluminium, copper, scrap iron and steel, recovered paper and paperboard.
According to the Solid Waste and Chemical Management Centre, this batch allows 7,680 tons of copper scrap, 9,844 tons of aluminium scrap, 170 tons of steel scrap and 30,979 tons of recovered paper to enter China.
Importers listed in the 15th batch are supposed to pass through the ports of Dalian, Taicang, Ningbo, Fuzhou, Shanghai, Xiamen, Nanhai, Nansha and Wuzhou.
This will be the last list of 2019.
