Boeing announced that it’s received another order for two 737-800 Boeing Converted Firefighters (BCF), although it didn’t identify the customer.
The order signifies recovering market demand for the model, and the company intends to establish additional conversion lines in China for its production. To date, the company has shipped out 36 of the 737-800 BCF models to 10 firms across the globe, and currently has 134 orders and commitments pending.
It’s also planning to add another conversion line in Singapore at its ST engineering facility to produce its leading 737-300BCF model, which is scheduled to open at the end of the year.
