Brazil’s crude steel output rose by 4.1pc to 2.80mn mt in March, from 2.69mn mt in the same month of the prior year according to the latest Brazilian Steel Institute (Aço Brasil) data.
Rolled steel production also increased by 10.1pc to 2.09mn mt in March, from 1.89mn mt produced in the same month of the prior year, Aço Brasil indicated.
