Canada Nickel Company has yielded 46pc and 51pc nickel recovery from metallurgical testing at its Crawford nickel-cobalt sulphide project in Timmins, Ontario.
The high HGC recovery of 51pc led to potential of 28pc nickel concentrate at the higher end and 8pc at the lower end. Low HGC recovery had concentrate grades ranging 13-28pc. The company also reported a 41pc Fe recovery with 55pc iron concentrate grade and 53pc Fe recovery with 46pc iron grade concentrate.
In 2021, the company plans to focus on optimizing recovery and concentrate grades by means of lab testing and research.
