Canada’s ferrous scrap export in March fell by 18pc to 368,593mt from 446,918mt in March last year, according to customs data.
The country’s ferrous scrap export however saw a 6pc jump from 349,351mt in February this year.
Its highest export in March was to the US at 321,237mt followed by exports to Taiwan and India at 16,826mt and 10,859mt respectively.
