Stuhini Exploration found up to 0.45pc copper and 6.37pc zinc at its Ruby Creek mine, it reported in its August 2019 due diligence examination.
Dave O’Brien, Stuhini’s chief executive officer, noted the explorations were unplanned because of inclement weather, but, because the drilling location is near the edge of proposed molybdenum pit, the area’s gold and silver potential—for which the examination revealed 5.32g/mt of gold and 1,172g/mt for silver—are promising.
Eighteen of 20 copper samples also revealed it assayed greater than 100ppm, with 5 samples higher than 0.1pc copper and two of 0.4pc copper.
Stuhini primarily explores and develops precious and base metal properties. It is currently focusing on the Metla property in northwestern British Columbia, Canada.
