Steel manufacturer Celsa’s Poland-based unit Celsa Huta Ostrowiec has acquired 100pc shares in construction company Porr’s Stal-Service plant located in Poland, according to media reports.

 

Stal-Service is active in the processing and sales of reinforcing steel products. It has a capacity to produce up to 90,000mt of construction reinforcement and 10,000mt of prefabricated construction elements per annum.

 

The plant is located in the outskirts of Warsaw in Poland and one of the largest suppliers of construction reinforcements for large infrastructure projects and to domestic markets apart from Sweden, Norway, and the Czech Republic.

 

Celsa Huta Ostrowiec manufactures rebar, merchant bar, special bar quality, and profiles. It supplies steel to some of Poland’s largest steel distributors, including Konsorcjum Stali and Bowim.
