Champion Iron’s Bloom Lake Mine Operation iron ore concentrate production rose by 1pc to 8mn mt in FY2021 (ended March 31, 2021) compared to 7.9mn mt in FY2020.
The Canadian miner’s iron ore concentrate production in the Q4 FY2021 rose by 6pc to 2mn mt compared to 1.8mn mt in Q4 FY2020. The mine’s iron ore concentrate sales in FY2021 increased by 1pc to 7.6mn mt compared to 7.5mn mt in FY2020. Its Q4 iron ore sales rose by 4pc to 1.9mn mt from 1.8mn mt in Q4 FY2020.
The company recently completed the acquisition of Kami project which has an estimated resource of 1.2bn mt with probable reserves of 517.2mn mt, it said in a recent media release.
