Chery Holding’s vehicle sales in February stood at 50,778 units, up by 144.9pc from Feb 2020 despite fewer working days in the month due to the Chinese New Year holiday, according to the local media reports citing a statement by the company.
The company’s vehicle exports in February stood at 18,294 units, registering a growth of 117.3pc from the year before and by 9.4pc as compared to the prior month.
The company informed that its passenger vehicles (PVs) remained popular among consumers in Europe and South America. It exported 16,512 units were of Chery Auto, registering a growth of 107.3pc from the prior-year period.
In the first two months of the year, the company’s vehicle sales grew by 98.1pc to 147,838 units compared to the prior-year period. Vehicle exports in the Jan-Feb period rose by 101.5pc to 35,017 units from the same period in 2020.
The company said that it has carried out special tests to make its vehicles befit the extreme cold or extreme hot weather conditions in countries like Russia and Saudi Arabia.
