China’s ferrous and non-ferrous metal smelting, processing industry rose by 7.9 and 2.6pc, respectively, from the prior year according to the National Bureau of Statistics data. The general equipment, special equipment, and automobile manufacturing industries rose by 9.6, 10.2, and 21.6pc, respectively, from the prior year.
In July, the product sales rate of industrial enterprises was 98.4pc unchanged from the same month of last year; the export delivery value of industrial enterprises was CNY1,039.9bn ($149.77bn), up by 1.6pc from the prior year.
According to NBS, the value-added of the mining industry increased by 2.6pc In July 2020, from the prior year and 1.7pc over June. The manufacturing industry rose by 6pc from the prior-year period and 0.9pc from June 2020.
The output of ten major non-ferrous metals was 5.08mn mt, up by 3.3pc from the prior year.
