World’s top copper producer Codelco increased production by 2.7pc in July to 136,900mt according to the Chilean Copper Commission (Cochilco). Total copper production in July 2021 was 465,000mt, almost flat from the same period of the previous year.
Codelco’s copper production had increased by 52,000mt to 796,000mt from Jan-Jun, up by 7pc from 744,000mt in H1, 2020
