Constellium and Airbus have entered into a 10-year pact in which the former will supply the latter rolled and extruded products and solutions.

The contract, worth an estimated $2bn, will see Constellium provide an array of aluminum products, including wing panels, fuselage panel sheets, and structural plates, to Airbus’s plants in Raveswood, West Virginia, and Issoire and Montreuil-Juigné, France. The deal also involves supplying its proprietary aluminium lithium alloy, Airware

Jean-Marc Germain, Constellium’s chief executive officer, said the contract is an opportunity to exhibit its leading role in the advanced aluminium products market, while Airbus lauded Constellium’s award-winning track record, notably for “best improver” in 2019 and “best performer” this year.
