Aeris Resources produced 5,845mt of copper in the December quarter, up by 7pc from the prior-year quarter. Compared to the preceding quarter, however, production dipped by 3pc on a decline in output from the company’s Tritton unit due to stope blast partial failure delays and paste line blockages which have now been resolved.
The company has kept its guidance for copper unchanged for the fiscal year ending in March. In FY2021, Tritton is forecast to produce more than 23,000mt of copper.
Aeris has intersected high-grade copper at Constellation deposits, according to previous releases. The company is taking measures to keep COVID-19 at bay while managing the units. No incidents have been found yet, reported the company.
