Japanese auto parts manufacturer Denso has announced some management changes at its North American operations, that came into effect from Jan 1. 

 

Seiji Maeda has been appointed as the company’s chief executive officer for North America. Maeda has replaced Kenichiro Ito, who served in the role for five years and has now returned to Japan to serve as the company’s chief human resource officer. Maeda previously served the Japanese firm as the head of its Motor Business Unit in Japan since 2018 and in several management roles prior. 

 

In order to strengthen the company’s North American operations, its North American Engineering Division has been divided into two units – Design and Engineering, which will be led by Pat Bassett, and Research and Development, to be led by Shinichiro Nakamura.
