Ukraine-based DMK’s saleable metal output rose to 228,833mt in January, 8,442mt higher than the planned production target for the month.
The January target was completed in the blast furnace, converter and rolling shops, while the agglomeration shop fell short of the planned tonnage. Agglomerate output was 328539mt, which is 94.3pc of the planned target.
In Januaury, 204,094mt of pig iron was produced, 2,688mt or 1.3pc higher than the planned output, which includes 3,476mt production of cast iron. Steel production was 227602mt 5,657mt or 2.5pc higher than plan. The plant’s total output in January was 73,544mt 5,931mt higher than planned.
Dniprovsky MK supplied 225,425mt marketable metal products to clients, which is 6,821mt or 1.3pc higher than planned.
