Dowa Holdings has targeted copper production of 29,285t (26,567mt) in the first half of FY2021 starting Apr 1 and expects its H2 FY2021 copper output, starting Oct 1, to be 32,443t. Its copper output in H1 FY2020 was 31,068t, it said in a statement.
The Japanese company plans to produce 5,403t of lead in the first half of the fiscal and has projected output to rise to 6,238t in H2 FY2021. Its production in H1 FY2020 tallied at 5,242t.
Dowa has forecast zinc production of 82,006t in H1 FY2021 compared to the actual production of 76,395t during the same period last year before it rises to 93,490t in the second half of the fiscal.
