Embraer increased its aircraft deliveries by 81pc in H1 2021 to 56 units from 31 units in the same period last year. Of the 56 units delivered in H1 2021, 23 were commercial aircraft and 33 were executive jets.
The Brazilian manufacturer indicated in its Q2 2021 report that the higher deliveries during the quarter were aided by a recovery in the aerospace segment this year after the COVID-19 pandemic-related restrictions in 2020 weakened demand.
As a result, in the second quarter of 2021, its deliveries doubled to 34 aircraft from 17 units delivered in Q2 2020 and increased by 55pc from 22 units delivered in Q1 2021. Of the 34 aircraft delivered in Q2 2021, 14 were commercial units and 20 were executive aircraft.
