Canada-based Ero Copper Corp’s Vale do Curaçá property increased its Q3 FY20 copper output by 13pc to 10,961mt from 9674mt in the prior-year period but decreased by 2pc as compared to 11,178mt in Q2, the company said in its Q3 results.


The company’s copper output in the first nine months of the year (Jan-Sep, 2020) stood at 32,796mt, up by 7pc from 30,792mt in the prior-year period



Copper concentrate sales in Q3 grew by 13pc to 11,530mt from 10,200mt in the prior-year period and by 9pc as compared to 10,586mt in Q2. In the Jan-Sep period, copper concentrate sales stood at 32,549mt, up by 4pc as compared to 31,164mt in the period year period.



The company’s copper output guidance for the year has remained unchanged between 41,000mt–43,000mt. It expects total recovered copper production to be within its guidance range and is expecting that production will slightly be above forecasted volume.


It has increased exploration capital guidance to reflect the continuity and expansion of programs into Q4. The company’s Vale do Curaçá property is located in Bahia, Brazil.
