Vancouver-headquartered Ero Copper reported a drop of 3pc in copper production in Q2 (June quarter) to 10,898mt against 11,178mt in the prior-year quarter period. 

 

The company has reported a 2021 copper guidance range of 42,000-45,000mt. Mill throughput volumes and copper production in Q3 are expected to be affected due to planned maintenance scheduled to begin in August and be completed by the end of the third quarter. 

 

Copper production in H1 stood at 23,536mt up by 8pc from the same period a year ago. Copper sold in concentrate was reported at 22,565mt in H1, up 7pc from the same period a year ago. 

 

Revenues in Q2 rose by 70pc to $120.7mn from Q2 2020 and net income rose to $84mn from $7.7mn in the same quarter a year ago.
