Iran-based Esfarayen Industrial Complex’s steel product output in the first nine months (Mar 20-Dec 21, 2020) of the Iranian calendar stood at 59,417, up by 52pc from the prior-year period, breaking its own production record, according to local media reports.

 

The company said that in the past few months it has given more importance to boost production and become self-reliant.

 

The company aims to produce 85,000mt of steel products by the end of the current Iranian fiscal (March 2021).

 

The Esfarayen Industrial Complex is one of the largest producers of forged and heavy and super-heavy casting parts and sections of alloy steel and supplies its products to oil and gas, power plants, shipbuilding, and machine-building sectors.

 

The complex is located in the North Khorasan province of Iran and comes under the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development Renovation Organization (Imidro).
