Eurasian Economic Commission imposes anti-dumping (AD) duty on aluminum alloy strips imported into the Eurasian Economic Union originating from the Azerbaijan and China.
The commission imposed an AD duty for a period of five years according to an announcement through Resolution No. 115 issued on Sept 24. The tax rate applicable to Chinese company Nantong Hengjin Composite Material and other Chinese exporters is 13.14pc while those levied on Azerbaijani manufacturers is 16.18pc. The resolution is applicable after 30 days of notification, that is, Oct 24.
Aluminium tapes in roll made from brand alloy 5182 according to GOST 4784-2019 (EN 573-3), able to delivery H48 according to EN 485-2 and grade alloy 3104 and traded under HSN Codes 7606119100, 7606122009, and 7606129209 are subject to this duty. The state customs bodies of the members of Eurasian Union shall ensure the collection of the anti-dumping duty provided for by this decision.
