Davis Index: Market Intelligence for the Global Metals and Recycled Materials Markets

Industrial producer prices (IPP) rose by 10.2pc in the Euro area and by 10.3pc in the EU in June this year compared to June last year, according to Eurostat. 

 

Compared to May this year, IPP in June rose by 1.4pc in June in both the Euro area and the EU. 

 

Prices for intermediate goods increased by 10.6pc, durable and non-durable goods grew by 2.3pc, and prices for capital goods rose by 2pc in June in the Euro area. In the Union, prices rose by 10.9pc for intermediate goods, 2.5pc for durable and non-durable goods, and 2.1pc for capital goods in June compared to June last year, according to Eurostat. 

 

Prices for intermediate goods increased by 1.3pc rose by 0.4pc for capital goods, and by 0.3pc for durable and non-durable consumer goods in June in the Euro area. In the EU the industrial producer prices increased by 1.4pc for intermediate goods, by 0.4pc for capital goods and non-durable consumer goods, while they increased by 0.3pc for durable consumer goods in June from May this year.
