Switzerland-based Ferrexpo group’s iron ore pellet production in the first ten months of the year (Jan-Oct, 2020) stood at 9.18mn mt, up by 3pc from the prior-year period, according to media reports.
In the Jan-Oct period, the company’s iron ore concentrate output rose by 4.9pc to 11.5mn mt as compared to the same period in the preceding year.
In October, the company’s iron ore pellet and iron ore concentrate productions stood at 1mn mt and 1.26mn mt, respectively.
Ferrexpo group is a producers and exporters of iron ore pellets, headquartered in Switzerland and having assets in Ukraine.
The company had earlier planned to increase its annual output capacity to 12mn mt by 2020 and then expand it up to 20mn mt in the long run.
