General Motors (GM) has appointed Paul Jacobson as its new vice president and chief financial officer.
Jacobson previously served Delta Airlines as its chief financial officer and will assume his position at GM from Dec 1.
John Stapleton was the acting chief financial officer for the company since Aug 31 this year, and will continue to serve the car manufacturer as chief financial officer for the North American region, a position held by him since 2014.
In the second quarter of 2020 GM reported a total revenue of $16.8mn while in the US alone while it sold 492,489 vehicles in this period.
