Germany’s stock of manufacturing orders in June this year grew by 2.8pc compared to May, according to the country’s Federal Statistical Office (Destatis).
Of the total manufacturing order, domestic ones rose by 4pc and foreign orders increased by 2.2pc on a monthly basis, Destatis stated.
Unfilled orders in the intermediate goods category rose by 0.9pc in June from the previous month while those in the capital goods category saw a 3.9pc rise on a monthly basis. Orders in the consumer goods category rose by 4.2pc from May this year.
