Swedish aluminium producer Granges has appointed Sofia Hedevag as a member of Gränges’ Group Management under CEO Johan Menckel. She is currently SVP for sustainability at the company. Since May, 15 last year, Hedevag has been a member of Gränges’ extended group management.
SVP Corporate Responsibility & Communication, Camilla Weiner, who has been a member of Gränges’ Group Management since 2019, has informed that she will leave Gränges to pursue her own business. The changes will come into effect from April 1.
Granges, is a global supplier of rolled aluminium products used in heat exchanger applications, speciality packaging. It has a market share of approximately 20pc in heat exchangers. The company has a presence in Europe, Asia and the Americas and has an annual capacity of 560,000mt. The company has 2,400 employees and net sales of SEK13.5bn ($1.58bn).
