Swedish aluminum producer Granges has appointed Torbjorn Stensjo as the president of its Europe operations, effective November 9, 2020.
Stensjo, who previously served the firm as its senior vice president for technology and business development, will now handle operations at the company’s recently acquired business, Aluminium Konin in Poland, Finspang in Sweden, and Granges Powder Metallurgy.
Moving forward, the aluminium manufacturer has also decided to rename Aluminium Konin and Finspang to Granges Konin S.A and Granges Finspang AB, respectively.
Granges owns six rolled aluminum production facilities across Europe, Asia and the US and has a combined annual production capacity of 560,000mt.
