Group Eleven Resources announced commencement of drilling at Stonepark Zinc project in Limerick basin, Ireland. Stonepark totals 5.1mn mt grading 8.7pc zinc and 2.6pc lead.
The Limerick basin in Ireland is proving to be a highly prospective zinc and lead camp that the company will also be exploring further, says the company. Stonepark is adjacent to Group Eleven’s 100pc owned PG West project and Glencore’s Pallas Green project which also hosts zinc -lead deposits.
Group Eleven Resources also announced discovery of high-grade zinc-lead mineralization at Carrickittle and drilling will be completed over the next few weeks and it hosts 14.6pc zinc and 5pc lead. The company was also granted prospecting license covering the Tullacondra copper-silver prospect in the general PG West project area.
