Indian base metal company Hindustan Zinc’s CFO, Swayam Saurabh, has resigned from his position and decided to leave the company. 

 

The company had announced his decision to resign on January 26, but the date of his resignation was undecided at the time. 

 Hindustan Zinc announced on April 6 that Saurabh stood released from his services of the company on April 5.

 

Hindustan Zinc is India’s sole zinc and lead miner. It is a subsidiary of Vedanta group which owns 64.9pc stake in the company and the 29.5pc stake is owned by Government of India. Hindustan Zinc has a total metal production capacity of 890,000mt of zinc and 205,000mt of lead.
