Vietnamese steelmaker Hoa Phat sold over 90,000 mt of steel pipes in December, up by 44pc from the prior-year period. The company’s cumulative steel pipe sales in 2020 were over 820,000mt, up by 10pc from 2019.
The company achieved its best sales growth in the South with an increase by 15pc, followed by the North with an 11pc rise over the prior- year period. Sales in the central region declined marginally due to floods and COVID-19-related restrictions..
Steel pipe exports for 2020 were over 21,000mt, up by 12pc from 2019.
