Hyundai Motors’ global sales in the first three months of the year rose by 10.5pc to 997,882 units from 903,364 units in the same period in last year. In March, sales rose by 22.4pc to 375,924 units from 307,176 units in March 2020.
The company’s sales in Korea in January-March saw a 16.6pc increase to 185,413 units compared to 159,061 units during the same period in 2020. Domestic sales in March alone saw a 2.3pc increase to 73,810 units from 72,180 units in the same month last year.
Overseas sales in the January-March increased by 9.2pc to 812,469 units compared to 744,303 units the same month in 2020. In March alone, the car manufacturer’s sales grew by 28.6pc to 302,114 units compared to 234,996 units in March last year.
