Delhi markets reported fewer trades amid weak demand from small manufacturing plants struggling to resume production with a limited workforce.
The weekly Davis Index for domestic Taint/Tabor (old sheet) settled at Rs90,000/mt del Delhi consumer, down by Rs8,000/mt from pre-pandemic days. The weekly index for imported Taint/Tabor settled at $888/mt cfr India on Friday, down by $12/mt from the prior week.
Secondary alloy manufacturers and downstream industries in the outskirts of Mumbai and other industrial sectors in Maharashtra have slowly resumed production. The index for domestic old sheet settled flat at Rs90,500/mt del Mumbai consumer, with no trades reported.

The weekly index for aluminium EC wire Tuesday remained flat at Rs122,000/mt del Delhi consumer and del Mumbai consumer as traders lowered prices to lure customers.
The index for aluminium utensil dropped by Rs8,000/mt to Rs98,000/mt del Delhi consumer on lack of demand. The index for aluminium utensils settled flat at Rs95,500/mt del Mumbai consumer.
