India’s weekly imported copper scrap prices inched up on a 3pc increase in the official three-month LME copper contract.The Davis Index for Berry settled at $5,131/mt cfr India port, Thursday, up by $139/mt from a week ago.

 

The Davis Index for Berry settled at $5,131/mt cfr India port, Thursday, up by $139/mt from a week ago. The index for Berry/Candy and Birch/Cliff settled at $4,998/mt and $4,582/mt cfr India port, respectively, up by $132/mt and $119/mt. 

India’s import market for scrap and export market for semi-finished copper and brass products remained silent, with a belief that lockdown could be extended post May 3.

 

The official three-month LME copper contract settled at $5,215/mt, Wednesday, up by $153.5/mt from a week ago.
