The daily Davis Index for P1020 on Monday rose by Rs1,250/mt ($16.99/mt) to Rs169,788/mt from Rs168,538/mt ex-works India producer Friday after Hindalco and Balco increased their product prices on Dec 11 from Dec 10 in sync with the volatile spot aluminium prices on LME.
The official LME spot contract settled at $2,031/mt Dec10, up by $21/mt from Dec 9.
Balco increased its product prices by Rs1,750/mt, with P1020 price increasing to Rs172,250/mt on Dec 11.
Hindalco increased its prices by Rs2,000/mt to Rs172,750/mt ex-works India producer.
The daily Davis Index for ADC 12 settled at Rs172,186/mtex-works India producer, up by Rs875/mt. The index for CG 99.5 rose by 1,250/mt to Rs169,371/mt ex-works India producer on Dec 11.
The daily Davis Index for EC Rod settled at Rs175,293/mt ex-works India producer, up by Rs1,250/mt.
