The daily Davis Index for Raipur remained unchanged on Tuesday at Rs31,500/mt ($409.83/mt) ex-works. Rebar was booked at around 31,500/mt ex-works with delivery within the state. The daily index for billet remained flat at Rs26,500/mt ($344.78/mt) ex-works.
In Mumbai, the daily index for rebar remained unchanged at Rs33,400/mt ($434.55/mt), while the index for billet settled at Rs28,700/mt ($373.40/mt) ex-works. Secondary steel mills in Mumbai continue to remain shut due to the extended lockdown till May 3.
In Mandi Gobindgarh, the daily Davis Index for ingot remained unchanged at Rs29,800/mt ($387.71/mt) ex-works.
