The weekly Davis Index for ADC 12 settled at Rs110,500/mt ex-works Delhi producer on Monday, up by Rs500/mt($6.67/mt) on slow but steady demand from two-wheeler manufacturers in Northern India. A major auto manufacturer announced its purchase price for ADC 12 at Rs120,000/mt two weeks ago, which is likely to be raised again in the first week of the next month. Davis Index heard trades of ADC 12 at Rs108,000/mt ex-works Kolkata producer.
The Davis Index for ADC 12 settled at Rs115,375/mt on Monday, up by Rs208/mt($2.77/mt) from the prior week on an uptick in domestic demand. Manufacturers in Diu-Daman and Mumbai, Maharashtra continued to face labor issues amid a surge in the COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra. ADC 12 exports to China have dropped from two weeks ago as Indian buyers offered better realization.
The weekly Davis Index for LM6 settled at Rs139,000/mt ex-works Mumbai producer on Monday, up by Rs750/mt($10.01/mt) as demand from the power sector improved from the prior week.
