India’s APL Apollo Tubes’s sales volume rose by 32pc in September quarter (Q2 2021) to 4,81,115mt from the prior year quarter while sales volume surged by 102pc from the June quarter (Q1).

 

Apollo structural sales volume rose by 24pc to 256,000mt, Apollo Z up by 46pc to 92,000mt, Apollo Tricoat surged by 118pc to 61,000mt, Apollo standard up by 13pc to 54,000mt in Q2, 2020-21 compare to the prior year. 

 

The company’s sales volume saw significant increase largely in the rural market during the quarter. Sales recovered in the domestic demand supported by government projects.

 

APL Apollo Tubes’s net net debt fell to Rs2,970 mn as on Sep 30 compare to 3,544mn as on June 30 in the fiscal year 2021. APL Apollo Tubes operates 10 manufacturing facilities with a total capacity of 2.5mn mt. It has a pan India presence with units strategically located in Sikandarabad, Dujana, Bangalore, Hosur, Raipur, Hyderabad and Murbad.
