Harsco and Tosiyali join hands for sustainability
Harsco, a US-based environmental solution provider has entered into a new agreement with Tosiyali holdings, Turkey’s flat steel and pipe producer to provide an expanded range of services at its Toscelik Osmaniye flat steel production plant.
The agreement is valued at $17mn and help to improve the plant’s productivity while advancing its environmental sustainability goals.
The annual production capacity of Tosiyali holdings is around 550000 mt.
CISA seeks recommendations for five-year plan
China Iron and Steel Association has called upon stakeholders to give their recommendations for research and development in the iron and steel industry to be included in the 14th five-year plan. The recommendations should relate to near net shape manufacturing, green and intelligent manufacturing, and service mechanism and system research of steel productions. China’s 14th five-year plan is going to be implemented from 2021 to 2025.
