Inox Market Service is investing $15mn on its new Delaware County, Indiana headquarters, which includes a facility where production could begin as early as spring 2021.
The Italian stainless steel producer’s facility, Inox Market North America (IMNA), will cut and distribute class-A austenitic, ferritic, and low nickel stainless steels in various diameters from raw stainless steel coils, and cater to demand from the home appliance, elevator, escalator, and industrial sectors. Moreover, it will create over a 100 jobs in the area by 2024.
Construction on the facility, which will be close to 139,800 square feet, is slated to begin this summer and it be fully operational by 2022.
Indiana Governor Eric J Holcomb said this launch will give the state momentum, and added that Indiana’s skilled workforce will support the firm’s growth. Inox currently employs close to 400 people across nine locations in Europe, Mexico, and India.
