Ukraine-based Interpipe Steel’s crude steel production rose by 13.2pc to 90,000mt in April 2021 compared to the preceding month when it produced 79,500mt.
The company’s crude steel production rose by 3.9pc to 283,000mt in the Jan-Apr period compared to the same prior-year timeframe.
In April, Interpipe shipped the first batch of new railroad 840mm diameter wheels to Deutsche Bahn.
In 2020, Interpipe’s EBITDA rose by 6pc to $273mn against 2019 despite revenue dropping 23pc to $865mn. Revenue is expected to rise in 2021 on strong steel demand and higher prices.
