Ukrainian manufacturer Interpipe Steel’s steel production in January 2021 stood at 55,200mt, down by 15.5pc from Jan 2020, according to local media reports citing data released by the company.

The company’s steel output in January fell by 10.7pc from December 2020.

In 2020, the company’s cumulative steel output stood at 758,700mt, down by 11.2pc from the previous year.

Interpipe Steel is one of the largest electric arc-furnace complexes for the production of round steel billets in Eastern Europe.

The plant was put into operation in 2012. It provides steel billets for pipe and wheel production.
