Iran-based aluminum producer Iran Alumina Company is planning to increase its aluminum ingot output by 60pc to 40,000mt per year in the current Iranian year (Mar 21, 2021-Mar 20, 2022), according to local media reports citing a company official.
In the last fiscal year (Mar 21, 2020-Mar 20, 2021), the company’s aluminum ingot output stood at 25,000mt, up by 150pc as compared to 10,000mt produced in the preceding year.
The company informed that more than 50pc of the aluminum ingots are exported and the rest are consumed by the same company. The company’s main importer in Turkey.
