Iranian steelmaker Khouzestan Steel Company (KSC) exported 1.1mn mt of slabs, blooms and billets in the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 20-December 20, 2020) and emerged as the biggest exporter of semi-finished steel.
The company’s exports during the ninth month of the year (Nov 20- Dec 20, 2020) grew by 40pc to 151,915 mt from the previous year period.
Mobarakeh Steel Company (MSC)
Mobarakeh Steel Company exported 124,837mt of semis during the ninth month and 805,970mt in the first nine months under review, up by 26 and 27pc, respectively, compared to the prior year.
The country’s total exports by the major steelmakers in the first nine months, however, declined by 13pc to 4.7mn mt from the prior year period.
